S T R I V E   R E C O R D S

Band JV Quartet is jazz quartet raised and based in Birmingham, UK. Influenced by be bop and post bob music and composers like Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Chick Corea and many others. The sound of the band is unique and each member of the band has strong musical personality and own voice. The band had opportunity to play on some of the best jazz festivals in Central Europe such as Bratislava jazz days and Jazz festival in Zilina where they supported bands like Snarky Puppy, NBS Trio and many more. The band has also performed throughout jazz venues and clubs in UK, Slovakia and Czech Republic. The personnel of the band is Tom Niblock on saxophone, Andrew Woodhead on piano, Suart Barker on double bass and Jakub Valicek drums.
